Specific tasks include to:
Design PWBs, including schematic capture, parts placement, and routing interconnects
Create associated engineering documentation, including schematic, PWB, CCA, and PL drawings
Use various state-of-the-art computer hardware and software products
Interface with engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering, and PWB vendors
Apply IPC, ANSI, EPI, government and military standards and practices as required
Maintain and develop Mentor parts libraries
Contribute to the checking process through the use of checklists
Analyze the technical accuracy of designs ensuring compatibility to design requirements
Continually search for and implement process improvements
